Pacquiao vs Mosley

(NEWSTABULOUS) – After an interview from CNN.com, Manny Pacquiao declared that tomorrow is his night and he is 100% prepared for the upcoming match against Shane Mosley.
The match between Pacquiao vs Mosley is for the World Boxing Organization’s welterweight bout.
Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley Start Time, Schedule:
The main bout of the biggest fight of 2011 will be held tomorrow, May 7 at Las Vegas. The scheduled start time of the preliminary rounds is 8 pm EST, while the main bout is expected to begin at 10 pm EST.
Also holding the World Boxing crown, the People’s Champ, Manny Pacquiao says that he has prepared rigorously, even saying that his training for the Mosley fight tops every single one, most especially his preparations for when he beat Oscar de la Hoya in 2008. He said:

“I trained hard for this fight because I never underestimate Mosley and I consider him a good fighter and a tough opponent for me.”

Though a lot of people are banking on Pacquiao to rule the fight, Mosley should not be counted out. He is the former World Boxing Association welterweight super champion, winning three weight divisions, and beating even de la Hoya in 2003.
Pacquiao is getting a lot of attention, especially after he claimed 10 world titles, in eight different divisions with his record of 52-3-2 and 38 knockouts.
What’s good about this match is that despite the intense rivalry, trash talk interactions have been pretty minimal between Pacquiao-Mosley, as both intend on giving a clean fight for the people.
“We’re going to do our job to make people happy and our concern is what fight we can give to the people…We want people satisfied on Saturday.”

Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley Weigh In

Mosley to the scale first. Smattering of applause and jeers. Looks good. Lennon announces Shane Mosley weighs in at 147 pounds.
Pacquiao up now. Good reaction. He flexes for the crowd, which gets a pop. Manny Pacquiao weighs in at 145 pounds. Big "Man-ny!" cheer goes up.
Gentle staredown. They shake and embrace.
Atlas notes that Mosley's "skin looks good" and that he isn't "ashy." Also noted that Mosley didn't grab immediately for liquids, so he thinks the cut went well.
The weigh-ins (and tomorrow night's fight) are taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao and Mosley will fight at the welterweight (147 lb.) limit, with Pacquiao's WBO welterweight title up for grabs.
Pacquiao is 52-3-2 and the current WBC Super Welterweight World Champion and the WBO Welterweight World Champion. He is the first boxer to win the lineal title in four separate weight classes. He hasn't lost since Erik Morales took a unanimous decision over him in March of 2005, and he obliterated Antonio Margarito over twelve rounds in Cowboys Stadium in November.
Mosley is 46-6-1 with 1 no contest. He drew with Sergio Mora in his last fight in September. He dropped an uncompetitive decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of 2010, with his last victory coming over Antonio Margarito by TKO in January of 2009.

Go Pacman! You are the one and only Filipinos Pride.

Sony's websites may be next target for hackers

Sony's websites may be the next target for hackers in what would be a third cyber attack against the consumer electronics titan, according to a report from CNet.
An unidentified group of hackers said it was planning to attack Sony's websites this weekend in response to the anger over the way the Tokyo-based company has handled attacks against its PlayStation Network and cloud-based music service Qriocity, CNet said.
The hackers allegedly discussed the planned attack on an Internet Relay Chat channel, which is a private instant messaging system used to communicate in real-time, in text, across the Web, the report said.
"An observer of the Internet Relay Chat channel used by the hackers told CNET Friday that a third major attack is planned this weekend against Sony's Web site," CNet said, not naming who the observer was.
If the planned hack succeeds, those involved said they want to publicize some or all of the data they can siphon from Sony's servers, the report said. The attacks on Sony's servers so far have exposed personal information such as names, birth dates, addresses, email addresses and even credit card information.
The hackers communicating on the Relay Chat said they already have access to some of Sony's servers, CNet said.
The move to take down Sony's websites would be one made out of retaliation due to frustration with the way Sony has handled two previous attacks on its online services so far, the report said.
The first attack came in April, against servers for the PlayStation Network and Qriocity music service. Sony shut down the two online services on April 20 after discovering it had been hacked onApril 19. Neither service has returned to public operation as of yet.
second cyber-attack against Sony took place on Monday. For the follow-up attack, the target was Sony Online Entertainment's servers. That hack forced the company to shut down that division of its business, which builds and supports online multiplayer computer games such as EverQuest and the Matrix Online.
The weekend attack on Sony's websites would be the third attack against the company in recent weeks. It is unclear as to whether or not the first two, and possibly third, attacks have been performed by the same group.
Sony has lobbed some of the blame for its problems at the "hacktivist" group Anonomyous, but the group has denied any responsibility for the attacks.
The troubles for Sony's online services has led to frustration from Congress and the U.S. attorney general's office, both of which are looking for more information from Sony about how the incidents took place and what the company is doing to protect consumers.
Sony apologized for the massive security breaches; Sony CEO Howard Stringer apologized in a letter to PlayStation users while also announcing a $1-million identity theft insurance policy for affected U.S. users.

Being Your Own Boss

For aspiring entrepreneurs, especially new college grads opting to be their own boss rather than report to one, the task of getting ready to launch a business can be overwhelming. Consider these tips from entrepreneurs who learned how to position a new business for success from the start.

Get educated. Prepare to take the entrepreneurial leap by learning about your future business, whether it's through graduate school, technical training, or simply reading and "being a sponge" for related information,

Get "intrapreneurial." Thinking and acting like an entrepreneur while working for someone else, also known as intrapreneurship, can be another stepping stone to business ownership. Take Peggy Paul, founder of SheTaxi, a website that provides content focused on women's issues, for example. While working in corporate philanthropy, she learned everything from business planning to the importance of a company board.

Get comfortable with failure. Michaela Conley of Washington, D.C.-based HPCareer.net, a social media company focused on advertising careers in the health promotion industry, found that "trial and error" offered some of the best training to grow her business as she learned quickly from her mistakes.

Get out there. In many ways, entrepreneurship is considered a "contact sport." "You can't run a business sitting behind your desk," says Denise Praul, founder of Accurate Tax Management Corp., an Indianapolis-based tax appraisal firm. "Get out into the world and start meeting people."

Giving your full commitment over your own business is the most important thing that you should consider in being your own boss. Because if your people don't see it in you, you won't get anywhere.

Ron Artest faces suspension for Game 3

As if things weren't already looking bleak for the Los Angeles Lakers, there's a good chance they will have to play Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinals series against the Dallas Mavericks without forward Ron Artest.

With 24.4 seconds left in the Mavericks' 93-81 win over the Lakers on Tuesday, Artest reached out with his right hand and grabbed Mavericks guard Jose Juan Barea by the face and basically clotheslined him. Artest was immediately ejected after picking up his second technical foul.
Artest was out of position and had to run through Lakers forward Lamar Odom to get to Barea, who took a minute to recover before making two free throws to seal the Mavericks' win and give Dallas a stunning 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
After the game, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said he expected Artest to miss Friday's Game 3 in Dallas.
"It was uncalled for," Jackson said. "There's a good chance he'll be suspended. I hope not."
Artest's elbow to Mavericks center Tyson Chandler late in the second quarter earned him his first technical. Barea wouldn't comment on Artest's possible suspension after the game.
"I think the league will take a look at it and we'll see what happens," Barea said. "It's not a basketball play. We'll see what happens."
GAME 2 RECAP

Hope LA LAKERS will win even without Ron Artest on the 3rd game.
Go LAKERS!!!!!

Superman Actor Dies Aged 88

Jackie Cooper, the American child star who went on to feature in four Superman movies, has died at the age of 88. Jackie Cooper died in Santa Monica,California, on Tuesday (3rd May 2011) of complications related to old age, according to Bbc News.

At the age of nine, Cooper became the youngest actor to be nominated for a 'Best Actor' Oscar, for the 1931 movie 'Skippy. In one of the movie's scenes where Cooper was required to cry, director Norman Taurog pretended to have the dog shot off set, a ploy that worked. The actor's 1981 autobiography was titled 'Please Don't Shoot My Dog'. Cooper served in the US Navy during World War II and returned to find that his film career had begun to deteriorate, leading him to head to New York to find work on the stage. After appearing in several Broadway plays, Cooper returned to the big screen after landing the role of 'Daily Planet' editor 'Perry White' in four of Christopher Reeve's Superman movies. He went on to have successful career as a film director and television producer.
Jackie Cooper, born 'John Cooper' in Los Angeles in 1922, was married three times and had four children. He is survived by his two sons.

National Day of Prayer

Today is the 60th annual National Day of Prayer, traditionally held on the first Thursday in May.

It almost didn't happen this year. An eleventh-hour ruling by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals found only last month that this observance is indeed constitutional, allowing President Barack Obama, whose administration defended the day in court, to issue the traditional annual proclamation calling for a national day of prayer.

May the National Day of Prayer bring Americans a renewed sense of purpose and confidence, not only in our leaders, but in our promise as a nation. May it bring us the courage to judge each other with mercy and fairness, both at home and abroad. And may it bring us comfort from the tragedies of natural disaster and economic devastation. We also hope that the very act of the National Day of Prayer might bring the nation blessings as well. A moment in which people join together as a nation, setting aside disagreements and differences in order to come together to pray for the best interests of our nation, is sorely needed

We hope it will bring the nation perspective, peace and, as President Abraham Lincoln hoped, the ability to move forward with "malice toward none, with charity toward all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right." The reminder that all depend upon the mercy of one another, as well as on the mercy of God, is a welcome one.

In Christian and Jewish traditions, the Sabbath is observed as a periodic rest from labor, an opportunity to reflect and refocus. The National Day of Prayer offers a similar opportunity to pause from our labors and consider again who we are, what we believe, and who we want to be

Please stop for a moment, look upward, and pray.
